Women standing near an RV

The idea of an RV camping trip can have you daydreaming for days. I bet you can already smell the musky smoke and pine needles from the late-night campfire; taste the charred burgers; feel the rush of pride when you catch more fish than Uncle Rob.

No matter what your ideal camping trip looks like, Wisconsin is a great state to make it happen. To ease your planning process, we have built a list of our top five RV campsites in Wisconsin, including both parks and resorts.

Before you load up the RV, make sure you have the right auto insurance to protect the vehicle that makes it all possible.

Yukon Trails & Camping RV Resort (Lyndon Station, WI)

At Yukon Trails & Camping RV Resort, rustic camping meets modern facilities and amenities. Yukon’s 214 sites are located near the Wisconsin Dells and complemented by miles of wooded trails and large oak trees. The resort also offers water and electric sites with 30/50-amp services.

Start your weekend morning with Yukon’s elaborate breakfast featuring sausage, donuts, biscuits and gravy, coffee and more! Then, once your taste buds are satisfied, explore the surrounding trails, ride the train, or check out the new disc golf course. When dinnertime rolls around, enjoy a smoky campfire at your site or catch one of Yukon’s weekly events (past events have included cookouts, movie nights and more!).

Don’t forget that Yukon Trails is only 10 minutes away from Wisconsin Dells, the waterpark capital of the world! Between the available activities on and off site, you will always have a new adventure awaiting.
