Mathew started in the insurance industry in 2011. He worked for two years as an agent focusing on Medicare, Life Insurance, and Long-Term Care insurance with Bankers Life. In 2013 he transitioned into training life and health agents and leading sales teams. In 2015 he obtained a securities license to offer investment products as well.
In 2018, Mathew left Bankers Life to become an independent agent to better serve his clients. He began offering home and auto insurance in addition to Medicare, life, long-term care and investment services with Affinity Insurance Group in Paducah. In 2024, Affinity Insurance Group of Paducah was acquired by Paducah Insurance and Mathew is excited to be a part of their team.
Mathew balances his free time between his wife of more than 20 years, Jessica, and his three children. He has a passion for the outdoors and enjoys spending time hiking and hunting. He serves in a local ministry teaching a faith-based parenting class for men in Paducah. He is focused on developing close relationships with his clients to better understand and meet their insurance needs.
